Who We Are
Carbon and Chrome Automotive Studio is a Saint-Gobain authorised car detailing and paint protection studio in Ramwadi, Viman Nagar, Pune. We opened in 2018 with one purpose, to give Pune car owners access to a studio that did the preparation properly before applying any product, used certified brands with genuine manufacturer warranties, and handled every service in-house without outsourcing.
Six years later that is still what we do.
We are certified applicators for 3M, Gyeon, CarPro, and Nasiol ceramic and graphene coatings. We install Garware, XPEL, Hexis, and Saint-Gobain paint protection film on all car types. We handle car detailing, paint correction, vinyl wraps, denting and painting, custom paint jobs, and a full range of car accessories including audio systems, infotainment screens, body kits, lighting upgrades, and alloy wheels.
Everything is done by our in-house team at our Viman Nagar studio. Nothing is outsourced.

Car Detailing and Paint Correction
Professional car detailing covering full exterior decontamination, clay bar treatment, machine polishing, and paint correction. Full interior detailing including seat shampooing, carpet extraction, air vent cleaning, interior glass polishing, and odour treatment. Every detail starts with a paint inspection. We tell customers what the car needs before any work begins.

Ceramic Coating and Graphene Coating
3M, Gyeon, CarPro, Nasiol, and Kovalent ceramic and graphene coatings with paint correction included before every application. 2-year, 3-year, and 5-year protection tiers. Hydrophobic surface that repels water, resists UV damage, and significantly reduces maintenance effort. Norton maintenance products recommended for between-wash upkeep and coating preservation. Manufacturer-backed warranty on every coating application.

Paint Protection Film
Garware, XPEL, Hexis, and Saint-Gobain PPF installed on all car types. Bonnet only to full body coverage. Every installation includes surface decontamination, clay bar preparation, and final inspection under LED lighting before the car is handed back.

Vinyl Wraps and Custom Paint
Full body vinyl wraps in gloss, matte, satin, and colour-shift finishes. Colour change resprays in standard and non-standard colours. Custom paint jobs including specialty finishes. Spectrophotometric colour matching on all panel repair and respray work.

Car Denting and Painting
Panel repairs, accident restoration, and full resprays. Insurance cases accepted. Spectrophotometric colour matching ensures invisible repairs. Wheel painting and calliper painting available.

Car Accessories
Supply and installation of car audio systems, infotainment screens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED lighting upgrades, body kits, alloy wheels, seat covers, dash cameras, and ambient lighting. All installation done by our in-house accessories team. We work with JBL, Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood, Nakamichi, Blaupunkt, and other leading brands.

Car Transformation Builds
Complete transformation projects planned and executed as one build. The Toyota Fortuner transformation we completed — from standard white to Land Rover Sedona Red with Lexus GX front conversion, JTI 19-inch alloys, and Saint-Gobain PPF on the new paint — is an example of what we build at our Viman Nagar studio.

Carbon and Chrome is a Saint-Gobain authorised car detailing and paint protection studio. Saint-Gobain authorisation requires trained technicians, genuine manufacturer products, and installation that meets manufacturer process standards. The certification is not self-assigned — it is verified and maintained through ongoing compliance with Saint-Gobain's authorised studio programme.

We use CarPro Cquartz professional ceramic coating products. CarPro is a globally recognised professional coating brand with a strong track record in demanding climate conditions — directly relevant for Pune's summer UV and hard water environment.

3M Certified Applicator
We are certified applicators for 3M automotive ceramic and graphene coating products. 3M certification ensures the products used are genuine, the application follows manufacturer standards, and the warranty is backed by 3M directly.

Nasiol Professional Applicator
We apply Nasiol ZR53 graphene ceramic coating. Nasiol's graphene formulation provides enhanced heat dissipation properties that are particularly relevant for cars parked outdoors in Pune's summer where bonnet surface temperatures regularly exceed 60 degrees Celsius.

Gyeon Certified Applicator
We are certified applicators for Gyeon ceramic and graphene coating products. Gyeon certification involves training in application technique and product knowledge that non-certified studios do not receive.

We work with Kovalent, an Indian professional coating brand with strong chemical resistance — suited to the industrial fallout and construction dust conditions that Pune car owners face year-round.

Sahil Takidar
Sahil started Carbon and Chrome in 2018 after seven years running automotive customisation operations at Renegade Designs across Pune. His background in automotive customisation, business operations, and client management shapes how Carbon and Chrome is run — every job starts with a clear conversation about what the car needs and what the customer should expect.
Shadab
Shadab leads the accessories and infotainment installation team with over 6 years of hands-on experience in car audio systems, Android infotainment screens, lighting upgrades, and body kit installations. Every audio and accessories job at Carbon and Chrome goes through Shadab's team.
Detailing and Coating Team
Our detailing and coating technicians are trained in Saint-Gobain, 3M, Gyeon, CarPro, and Nasiol application processes. Paint correction, ceramic coating, PPF installation, and vinyl wrapping are all handled by specialists within our in-house team.

The preparation before any coating or protection film is applied determines the quality of the result. Decontamination, clay bar, and paint correction before ceramic coating. Surface decontamination and clay bar before PPF. These steps are not optional at Carbon and Chrome. They are the standard process on every job regardless of the product being applied or the brand being used.

We do not use unbranded or generic products on any job. Every coating product, PPF film, and protection solution we apply comes from a certified brand with a genuine manufacturer warranty. Customers who book with us know exactly what brand is going on their car and what the warranty covers.
Every service at Carbon and Chrome including detailing, coating, PPF, vinyl wrapping, denting, painting, accessories, and infotainment is done by our own team at our Viman Nagar studio. Nothing is subcontracted to outside vendors. When you book with Carbon and Chrome, the same team that quotes the job does the job.

We inspect every car and tell customers what it needs before any work begins. If a car needs multi-stage paint correction before ceramic coating, we say so upfront with a specific cost before starting. If a panel has insufficient clear coat for aggressive correction, we tell the customer before starting. No surprises after the work is done.

Carbon and Chrome works on all car types from everyday hatchbacks to luxury vehicles. Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda City, Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Thar, Mahindra XUV700, BMW 3 Series, BMW 5 Series, BMW X Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A4, Audi Q5, Porsche Cayenne, and Range Rover have all been through our studio.
The preparation standards and certified products we use are the same regardless of the car. A Maruti Swift and a BMW 5 Series both receive the same decontamination process, the same clay bar treatment, and the same quality coating application. The products and their costs differ. The standards do not.
